First, download and install TortoiseSVN. Then, browse to the directory in which you want the TerraIM source, right-click, and select "SVN Checkout..."

Now, in the field labeled "URL of repository:" paste the string "https://terraim.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/terraim/trunk/terraim_source" (without the quotes).

Press the "Ok" button and the most up-to-date TerraIM source code will begin downloading! At any time, to retrieve the newest version of the code, right-click in that directory and select "SVN Update".
